Great book, but printed on wrong paper

First of all this is a _coloring_ book: no "activities" or other stuff (there is one sticker page) taking up space. It gets 3 1/2 stars from me on that alone.
The one thing that would have made this book better is the paper. It's printed on what feels a lot like normal computer printer/office copier paper. That's great in that it's durable, but crayons don't take to it the way they do the thinner, 'rougher' paper that coloring books normally have. The positive part of this is the pages are perforated, so you can take a page out and stick it to the fridge (about twenty pages near the end are detailed drawings with 'frame' borders).
Close to half of the pages are done in the 'outline in the middle of a blank page' style. These are easier for younger or less experienced artists to work with. If you're looking for lots of detailed drawings, Harry Potter Deluxe Coloring Book (Harry Potter Movie Tie-In) has about 3/4 of its pages as full page drawings (and is printed on coloring paper). I've got both of them now and while there is a bit of crossover, most of the drawings don't overlap: this book is the first two movies, the other goes up to Goblet of Fire.
The Sorcerer's Stone section is about twice as large as the Chamber of Secrets. Neither section tries to keep to chronological order, so you don't get the feeling of coloring through the story.
Bottom line? It's a good coloring book when true coloring books are getting harder and harder to find. If you can get a clean copy (check for used-like new) you'll have many, many hours of enjoyment.

This coloring book is HUGE! The illustrations are the best, but it will keep my daughter busy for ages! Comes printed on regular smooth, white paper, as opposed to rough coloring book paper.
